Jaguar offices and warehouse will be closed from 22nd December, re-opening 2nd January. We will aim to despatch all orders placed by midday on 21st December sameday for pre-Christmas delivery (UK mainland only). Orders placed after this time will be despatched upon our return in January.

The purpose of tamping stands is very similar to that of tamping mats, i.e. to protect work surfaces and support the portafilter to help limit the chance of slippage when tamping.
The key difference between tamping stands and mats is that stands allow baristas to slide their portafilters into a raised slot in the stand. This helps to keep the spouts out of the way of loose coffee grounds and can make it more straightforward to create a flat, neatly packed puck.
